Campsite San Marino***

The San Marino campsite, not far from Lopar, can accommodate 3500 guests who can set up camp on well-tended plots or in modern, well-equipped mobile homes. The camp is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, including a great number of entertainment and recreation facilities, both in the camp and nearby.  The campsite is very close to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic - the 1500 metre-long sandy beach deservedly known as the Paradise Beach. The turquoise sea, the safe and spacious bay and the large beach are a guarantee of a pleasant time of leisure by the sea. The camp itself is located in the shade of poplars and so provides a pleasant environment even in mid-summer.

    About the campsite

    The San Marino Campsite is located next to the well-known sandy Rajska plaža (Paradise Beach) on the Lopar peninsula, in the shade of the poplar and oak forest. Sandy paradise,
    as Lopar is known, is the place with the highest concentration of natural sandy beaches in the Adriatic. Some, such as Rajska plaža (Paradise Beach) or Livačina, are extremely popular, but if you are looking for peace and privacy, there are some twenty other local beaches with many smaller coves (three are considered to be nudist beaches).

    The San Marino Campsite is very popular among families with small children. The shallow water, sandy shore that is perfect for playing on, ample space, and the diverse local sport, entertainment and gastronomic offers are the reason why families spend the whole day on these beaches. Elderly people, those in need of easy access to the sea, weak swimmers and those in search of a peaceful environment will all find conditions ideal in this camp.

    Lopar is great for recreational activities. A sports centre is located next to the camp, and has several tennis courts, volleyball courts, a soccer pitch, mini-golf course, diving schools, and water sport equipment rental. The peninsula is covered with bike and trekking trails that lead to the most remote island locations, perfect for exploration and swimming alone. The distance from the Old Town of Rab is 12 km.

    Beach characteristics: a sandy that is 1500 m long, the sea has a sandy bottom.

    Pets: pets are allowed in the campsite. Swimming with pets is allowed in a specially designated section of the beach.

    Sporting facilities: sport and entertainment centre near the camp, water sports ( parasailing, scuba diving, boat trips, jet ski, banana, canoes) nearby jogging and cycling tracks, sports and recreational programmes on the beach, beach volley ball.

    • There is mooring and a slipway for small boats in the vicinity, showers on the beach that are free of charge, an internet corner in reception, wireless internet in the campsite, grill and pizza restaurants, a barbecue area, a shop, a gift shop, a hairdresser’s, bars, a newsagent’s, an exchange office, a market with fresh fruit and vegetables
